I have been listening to this account for a while now, so many wonderful recordings, it's hard to know where to start.

A personal favourite is the Portuguese Countryside collection, 10 tracks of diverse recordings, covering storms, birdsong, insects, etc. It's great as you are transported directly there with the crystal clear recordings, you get a real sense of energy all around, I think that is partly due to many of the recordings made early morning.

If you are a fan of birdsong I highly recommend listening to "a lake like a mirror, part III" no idea what the call is, but it's amazing how the call echo's.

In contrast there are some great urban recordings taken in São Paulo, Big Evening Fireworks has it all, the sound of engines act as drones while in the background there's birdsong and fireworks. The rainforest recordings are  particularly spectacular, layers and layers of insects, moving in and out of shot of the microphone, hypnotising.

There are no bad recordings in this collection, well worth a listen.
