Dominic Zapaman

Twitter can be great for finding new artists, I sent out a request for Field Recordings and Dominic replied. First I listened to a recording from the Orinoco Delta there's an amazing atmosphere and the sound of frogs is wonderful.

There are some great recordings of musical performances, Santa Elena Venezuela and San Jose 13 are two favourites, the vocal performances are stellar and the background noise transports you straight there.

I like how this collection of field recordings are a snippet of time while on vacation, it's the kind of stuff you experience, but realise you should have recorded once you are back home. It's convinced me to carry my Field Recorder around with me more.
